ACU Second Generation Camouflage Uniform
ACU, Combat Uniform, Second Generation (ACU II) is the Army's combat uniform. It features a 3-color desert pattern that blends well with most desert environments, and features new materials and styling for improved comfort, durability and aesthetics.
Either the first or second generation of the Army Combat Uniform (ACU) is referred to as the ACU. The first generation ACU was designed for desert environments, while the second generation was designed for woodland environments. To keep your ACU clean, you can dry clean or machine wash it, but only if it's made of 100% cotton fabric, like the second-generation camouflage suit.
